The weather belies the actual market behaviour.  An increasing number of people are coming out of hibernation and the cottage market is about to heat up while the government is creating capital gains changes that require tax planning.  It could benefit both buyers and sellers.

Get in early so that the July long weekend is a happy Long Weekend!

We are in dire need of more cottages to sell and maybe the recent tax changes will help with this, but people need to decide and be closed by the end of June.  Sellers have an opportunity now, right now, to grab the attention of highly motivated buyers and benefit from the market moves while interest rates are still in a holding pattern before dropping.

Selling now could be the beginning of a beautiful thing for everyone.
